This was a group favorite! We visited Kin-Ha cenotes which is a family ran park that included visiting 2 cenotes, several zip-lines and an ATV-ing drive. We’ve been to a larger cenote park but we like how intimate this park was and our tour guides were great. When arriving you are greeted by a host who gives the rules of the site which includes putting devices away during the first part of the tour. They do allow you to take pictures at the end of the trip but it does help to move people along through the “tour” and ensures that you don’t loose or break any of your electronics during the trip. They also have a photographer taking pictures throughout the day. You can purchase the photos pf your group for $140. There were 8 of us in a group so it came out to $20 per person. I personally liked not having my device because we were able to be in the moment. The tour starts out at the first cenote located near the entrance that is enclosed so you are encouraged to plunge into hole with at drop that is 15 ft tall. You emerge from the water and are surrounded by stalactites within a beautiful cave. We saw some bats flying around but were harmless. They have built a wooden structure that you can walk I and out of the cave from for those who would rather not jump in from the hole at the top. You spend about 45 minutes at this first site and then take a tram to the second cenote. This one is much larger and wider. The tallest jump is 45ft. This one includes 3 zip-lines that drop into the cenote. I appreciate how they start with the smaller cenote which prepares you for the much larger cenote. The water was warm and beautiful. Our guide did a great job give a brief history about the water systems and how cenotes bring clean mineral water throughout the region. We took the tram back to the inital site and they prepared us quickly for a zip-line experience where we glided through the jungle for about 30 seconds each way. At this point we were tired from all the jumping so we liked how quickly they were able to get us all through. It is a short run but very enjoyable. Lastly we were given helmets and jumped on ATVs parked right in front of the park. We took a 30 minute ride through the jungle which as perfect for those of us who were new to ATV-ing. We were given great instructions and road in a line. They do not allow you to go on your own or drive to fast/ sideways which made me feel safe granted there was not much space when driving through all the trees. We road back to the park and were shown our pictures which we all needed up loving. Our trip included a lunch which they provided there. The servings are small but prices are affordable if you want to purchase another plate. Another thing to do there is the tequila wine tasting. This is one of better presentations where we were taken through the process of how tequila was made and the different grades of tequilas and how to properly drink. Overall we felt like we were treated like family. The staff was kind and very hospitable. 10 out of 10 recommend this.
