Who looks after your information

CanaDian Transfers & Tours uses booking information to help you plan, purchase and follow up on transfers, admission tickets and tours.

The responsible entity is GRUPO TURISTICO JUSEBE, tax identifier (RFC) GTJ2309286H3, at Punta Pulticub 8, postal code 77509, Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico, for sales and support under the CanaDian Transfers & Tours brand.

Maple Cancún is the transport company’s trade name; its legal entity is Grupo Turístico Jusebe.

02

The information we use

We may request your name, email, phone and country code, language, passenger numbers and ages where relevant, flight details, travel dates and times, hotel or pickup and destination addresses, selected products, coordination messages and payment references.

Payment records contain the processor reference, amount, currency, status and transaction details needed to reconcile the payment. Card payment takes place through PayPal or Stripe; we do not request full card numbers, security codes or passwords by email or WhatsApp.

Details of minors must be supplied by the adult making or authorising the booking. Medical diagnoses are not needed in the comments field. If you need particular assistance, contact us to agree how to share only the necessary information.

03

Why we need it

  • Prepare your quotation, register your booking and check travel details.
  • Process and reconcile payments, deposits, balances and refunds.
  • Coordinate your purchased services with the transport operator, driver, hotel and experience supplier.
  • Arrange tickets, confirmations, documents and access instructions.
  • Send booking confirmations and follow-up messages, handle changes and enquiries and meet applicable obligations.
  • Protect booking security, investigate incidents and prevent unauthorised use.
04

Reviews and optional communications

After a private transfer is completed, you may automatically receive a review request by email. We do not use WhatsApp to request reviews. Taking part is voluntary and is a purpose additional to delivering the service.

You can opt out using the link in the review email or email bookings@canadiantransfers.com with the subject “Communication preferences” to restrict review requests or other optional communications. This does not affect support for an existing booking.

If promotional offers are provided, permission for them will be handled separately from the review request. Publication of your photographs or testimonials by CanaDian Transfers will require permission separate from purchasing a service.

05

Who needs information

We share the necessary details with the transport operator and drivers, parks and experience suppliers you book, relevant hotels or meeting points and technology or payment services involved in your booking.

The recipient and information depend on your purchase: selling an admission ticket does not itself send your booking to a driver. Where a transfer of information requires your consent, it will be requested beforehand. We do not sell personal information.

Services such as PayPal, Stripe, WhatsApp, email and Google Maps may process information outside Mexico according to their role and applicable terms. We limit shared information to what the service needs.

06

Technical information and site statistics

The booking form uses temporary browser storage to retain the payment step and display the confirmation. Administrative access uses session controls to protect booking information.

When you arrive through a campaign link created by CanaDian Transfers, a random visit identifier may link clicks, page views and bookings to that campaign. In the new version this is first-party measurement: it does not add social-network pixels or store the identifier in cookies. The identifier remains in the current tab and expires after no more than 30 days; statistical totals may remain without that identifier.

We use first-party pseudonymous statistics about pages, quote steps, general actions, active time and booking difficulties. We record coarse browser, operating system and language categories and an approximate connection country calculated locally. We do not capture form contents, card data or IP addresses in reports. The session identifier stays in the tab and expires after 30 minutes without signals or 4 hours. Detail is retained for up to 90 days. Authenticated team sessions are separated from customer visits; the IP is used transiently for approximate country and abuse limits.

Only if you choose “Remember visits”, CanaDian Transfers stores a first-party cookie containing a random identifier for up to 90 days to recognise returns in that browser. It does not identify a person or join devices. You can choose “This visit only” or disable statistics from the preferences at the bottom of pages; doing so removes the recognition cookie. Recognised returns are grouped into activity periods separated by 30 minutes.

This measurement respects supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. If other tools or purposes are added, this notice and the relevant controls will be updated.

07

Security and retention

Access to booking information is limited to people authorised for their roles. We use access controls and security measures to protect information and documents.

The commercial history and customer profile will be retained while needed to handle bookings, enquiries and the relationship with returning customers. Keeping a customer profile does not mean retaining every operational detail of every trip indefinitely, nor does it by itself authorise promotional messages.

We will review customer profiles 3 years after their most recent booking or genuine customer-initiated interaction, whichever is later. Automated messages sent by CanaDian Transfers do not restart this period. The review will determine which details are still needed and which should be blocked, deleted or anonymised, taking applicable obligations and open cases into account.

Contractual, accounting and tax documents will be kept with restricted access for their applicable retention periods. Where an enquiry, refund or dispute remains open, the information needed to handle that case and applicable obligations will be retained.

To analyse yearly sales trends, aggregate statistics that do not identify individuals may be retained. These reports will be kept distinct from the customer catalogue and document archive.

Personal information no longer needed will be blocked, deleted or anonymised where appropriate under a category-based retention policy. That policy must also cover backups and reapplying withdrawals or deletions when restoring a copy.

08

Your rights and preferences

You can request access, correction, cancellation or objection concerning your information, revoke consent or restrict additional uses by emailing bookings@canadiantransfers.com with the subject “Privacy”.

Include your name, a reply address, what you are requesting and information that helps locate your booking. To protect you, we may request the necessary proof of identity or representation. For a correction, identify the information to change and provide supporting information where relevant.

We will notify you of our decision and, where appropriate, fulfil your request within the time limits of applicable law. Deleting information or revoking consent does not remove previous effects or obligations that must legally be retained.

09

Changes to this notice

The current version and date will be posted here. A material change in how information is used will be communicated appropriately, and consent will be requested where required.
